2. What is the size of the screening rooms?
ROCX is researching locations with capacities between 150-200 seats.
ROCX cauta spatii cu capacitate intre 150 si 200 de locuri.

3. What are the estimate numbers for previous year audiences?
Estimated first year participation was as follows (location with 275 max capacity):
opening and closing night (with special guests, 1 feature and reception): 200-250
2nd-4th screening days(Monday-Thursday evening, 1 feature screening per evening): 50-60
Estimate subsequent years participation was as follows (different location with 150 max capacity):
opening and closing night (with special guests, 1 feature and reception): 100-150
2nd day screening (1 shorts block and 2 features): 50-60

4. Would you like to organize a special event about one particular film?
We are open to having a conversation about having special promotional events about specific films. If you are interested in such events, please contact ROCX at info@romanianculturalexchage.org.

5. Do you have premiere requirements for the films that will be featured?
We do not have premiere requirements for 2012.
Pentru anul 2012 nu avem cerinte specifice legate de prezentarea filmelor in premiera la festivalul nostru.

6. Should the film be selected, would the festival be interested in inviting the film maker or the production company as guests?
We would be happy to invite the filmmaker, actors and/or sales agents based on available funds and public interest.
Suntem dispusi sa invitam regizori, actori si realizatori de filme in limita bugetului pe care il avem la dispozitie si in functie de interesul publicului.

7. What is the festival fee policy and does the festival pay for screening films?
We do not charge any submission fees for participation in the Romanian Film Festival of Chicago.
The Romanian Cultural Exchange is a nonprofit, charitable organization whose mission is to promote Romanian cultural values and help preserve the Romanian identity of the Chicago community.
All the film festival logistics are handled by a small group of unpaid volunteers and we do not charge an entrance fee for our events. We suggest our audience make donations towards expenses incurred with space and equipment rental.
Therefore, we are not in a position to pay for screening the movies at this time.
Nu vom percepe o taxa de admitere pentru participarea la Festivalul Romanesc de Film din Chicago.
ROCX este o organizatie caritabila, non-profit a carei misiune este promovarea valorilor culturale romanesti si pastrarea identitatii comunitatii romanesti din Chicago.
Toate pregatirile pentru festivalul de film sunt conduse de un grup de voluntari si nu se va percepe o taxa de intrare la evenimentele. Vom sugera audientei sa faca o mica donatie care sa acopere costurile de marketing, inchiriere a spatiului si echipamentului precum si cele asociate cu venirea invitatilor speciali.
Prin urmare, festivalul nu poate plati casele de productie pentru prezentarea filmelor la aceasta data.
